Application and Résumé Check
The application check takes place online (via Zoom) or by telephone - in person by appointment. Send us your application documents via e-mail to alumni@boku.ac.at and receive comprehensive feedback.
This service is free of charge and open for BOKU students and alumni.
Individual Application Preparation
Apart from reviewing your application and résumé, we also offer the possibility to make use of our individual application preparation material including tips regarding the job interview, job hunting or salary negotiations.
Please contact us at alumni(at)boku.ac.at to arrange for an individual appointment with us.
This service costs EUR 30,- per session (1 session = 50 minutes) for alumni members. For non-members one session costs EUR 50,-.

Job search - a professional start with perfect, true-to-type application photos!
For alumni members, application photos are available at a reduced price at Foto Schuster.
Offer:
Shooting incl. one file 300 dpi = 29.50 euros (instead of 44 euros); for a possible second file (300 dpi) an additional 10 euros would be charged in this context.

Application Templates
We provide downloadable templates (at the moment available only in German) for applications, e-mail applications, résumés and unsolicited applications. The templates for the résumé and the letter of application are freely available for everyone. Further documents are visible only to alumni members and are password protected.

The Job Compass
With 44 pages, the new brochure "Guide for Successful Applications" published by alumni helps you to create your successful application. No matter if you are entering the labor market, are a fast climber, or wish to change your career plans, this guidebook will help you formulate and design your application documents.
The guidebook offers an overview of the current situation of the job market for BOKU graduates and provides detailed information on prospects. Subsequent chapters describe the individual steps of the application process - starting with a self-analysis for self-assessment of your professional and personal abilities, via the right job-related research, including important contact links, all the way to the design of your documents (letter of application, résumé and reports).
