The bio-assessment tool developed during my doctoral studies has now been applied extensively in Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, parts of India and Pakistan in environmental impact assessment. The methodology developed in formulating this tool is now being used in Developing Country to formulate similar tools elsewhere. The time I spent at BOKU was difficult. I survived hardship but that has led me to beautiful destinations. I was an ordinary person before entering BOKU, who has now developed extraordinary skills. A person studying at BOKU is exposed to extensive network of scientists, who became instrumental in developing your professional carrier at later stage. My personal take home message from my memorable time at BOKU is that the good company in journey can convert your hardship into opportunity. I have numerous friends in Austria, too numerous to mention them individually, who have helped me immensely and changed my life completely.
