Using the MareNostrum 4 in Barcelona, one of the largest supercomputers in Europe, I process high amounts of data in short amounts of time. Automation is the key to successful scientific analysis: tasks that would have taken months a decade ago now take minutes. At BOKU I learned the value of efficiency in research. A result should not just be scientifically relevant: it should also be quickly and efficiently reproducible.
